The Cavallin del Bufalo farmhouse is located just fifteen kilometers from the village of Saturnia and its well-known thermal waters.

Saturnia has been enveloped for centuries by an aura of mystery and legend, its steaming waters with exceptional therapeutic virtues were already known in the Etruscan era and later very appreciated also by the Romans.

Among the testimonies of its past, the walls, built by the Sienese in the fifteenth century on the remains, here and there still visible, of the Etruscan and Roman ones, the ruins of the Cassero, just behind the parish church and, further on, those of the Roman gate.

Nowadays, Saturnia is a small quiet and hospitable village, immersed in a landscape of great beauty and its spas attract visitors from all over the world.
